Legal Terms

Terms & Conditions

Please review the terms of service governing consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicine dispensing at VitalPoint Smart E-Clinics.

Scope of Telemedicine

Our platform connects rural patients with registered medical practitioners. Telemedicine is for primary care screening and consults. It does not replace physical critical care in emergency situations.

Limitations of Diagnostics

Diagnostics run on Health ATMs are point-of-care screenings (POCT). While clinically calibrated, they serve as diagnostic assists and must be evaluated by a certified doctor.

Prescription Integrity

Remote doctors issue digital prescriptions based on vitals and symptoms. Dispensaries will only dispense medication upon validation of a valid digital prescription by a licensed pharmacist.

User Account Responsibilities

Patients are assigned a unique health profile linked to their phone number. You are responsible for ensuring your registration information is accurate.

Consultation Fees

Consultation fees and medicine pricing are transparently indicated. Payments must be completed at the kiosk check-in counter before the consult commences.

Service Outages & Failures

While we employ solar backup and hybrid satellite links, on-ground hardware failures or connectivity cuts may occur. We will reschedule consultations in such cases.

Emergency Advisory

VitalPoint E-Clinics are NOT equipped to handle major trauma, acute poisoning, severe respiratory distress, or obstetric emergencies. In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, patients should proceed directly to the nearest Government Community Health Centre (CHC) or district hospital.
